Summer Reading Program

Color Our World

This summer, YOUR Library is inviting you to embark on a journey of art and creativity, celebrating the myriad ways in which art enriches our lives.

The Livingston Parish Library’s annual Summer Reading Program will run from May 19 – August 3, 2025. The LPL’s Summer Reading Program challenges readers of all ages to read as many books as they can during the summer months. Participants of all levels can win prizes for reading books and attending LPL events.

This year’s SRP theme is Color Our World, highlighting the power art has to transform, uplift, and connect us all.

We hope to create a colorful tapestry of experiences for everyone this summer!

From fun activities, special events, and breathtaking performers, to an ever-growing collection of books, eBooks, audiobooks, movies, music, databases, Learning Kits, board games, Hobby Kits, Celebration Kits, Cultural Passes, and more, YOUR Library has everything you’ll need to fill those summer days with fun!
